Thomas Homan, the U.S. Border Security Coordinator, stated in an interview with ABC News that the use of military aviation for deporting illegal migrants will become a regular practice, according to the Adyrna national portal.
According to him, hundreds of illegal migrants will be deported from the United States every day.
Homan emphasized that immigration and customs officials are now capable of detaining more than 11 million people illegally residing in the country and can deport all illegal migrants, not just those who have committed crimes.
After Donald Trump took office as president, two U.S. military planes delivered the first deported individuals to Guatemala.
On Monday, Trump promised to immediately stop illegal migrants from entering the U.S. and to begin deporting millions of them from the country.
