Kazakh hockey players triumphed over their opponents with a 5-2 score. Oleg Boyko (22nd minute), Beibarys Orazov (31st minute), Denis Chaparov (44th minute), and Semen Simonov (54th and 55th minutes) scored for Kazakhstan. On the opposing side, Joshua-James Macha (27th minute) and Josef Hasman (33rd minute) responded with two goals.
Our team competed in Group A, where their opponents were Canada, Czech Republic, South Korea, and Sweden. They first defeated Sweden 9-2 and South Korea 7-1, but then lost to Canada 3-4 and Czech Republic 1-3. With seven points, they finished third in their group.
