As part of his state visit to Mongolia, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan made a special visit to the National Museum of Chinggis Khan in Ulaanbaatar, as reported by Akorda and covered by the national portal “Adyrna.”

Opened in 2019, the museum houses over 10,000 unique artifacts, with its main exhibit dedicated to the legendary commander and conqueror Chinggis Khan. In addition, the museum displays artifacts covering the formation of the Mongolian state, spanning from the Hun era to the 20th century.

Another important mission of the museum is to research and promote the nomadic civilization and cultural heritage of Eurasian peoples.

After touring the museum, the President signed the Guest Book, writing: “The National Museum of Chinggis Khan is the chronicle of a great figure and an entire nation. May this spiritual center continue to serve the public good. May the people of Mongolia enjoy prosperity!”
