In the fight against illegal lottery services and online casinos, 6,639 resources were blocked. This was announced by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
According to information, the agency continues active work on identifying and blocking illegal lottery activities. This year, since the beginning of the year, 103 administrative protocols have been filed against those who organize illegal lotteries. As a result of the trial, 48 individuals were brought to justice, and the remaining cases are still under investigation.
As part of the fight against illegal online casinos and bookmakers, various agencies, in cooperation with the General Prosecutor's Office, the Financial Monitoring Agency and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, identified 11,417 Internet resources with signs of illegal activity. Among them, 6,639 resources have been blocked, 1,237 are in the process of processing, 1,961 are unavailable, 1,353 resources have no signs of violation, and 227 have been blocked by the State Technical Service in pilot mode.
The Ministry of Tourism and Sports will continue to work in the direction of protecting the rights of citizens, ensuring order in the market of online services, as well as monitoring and blocking illegal services in this field.
