Nazim Kyzaibay, a member of the Kazakhstan women's boxing team, reached the semi-finals at the Paris Olympics, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
Kyzaibay, competing in the women's 50 kg category, fought in the quarterfinals with Lorena Ingrit from Colombia.
In the first two rounds of the intense fight, the judges gave the victory to Nazim with a score of 3:2.
Nazim Kyzaibay won the overall score 4:1 and went to the semi-finals of the Olympics.
Kyzaibay will fight with Wu Yu from China in the fight for a place in the finals.
