"The criminal group led by the general director of the reserve is suspected of embezzling a large amount of forest wood by illegally selling wood in the form of technological and fuel wood. As a result of the criminal activity, the state was damaged in the amount of more than 150 million tenge. Currently, the participants of the NCT are in custody. The pre-trial investigation has been completed. The work will continue," the report said.
