The ex-president Nursultan Nazarbayev's ex-daughter-in-law Gulmira Satybaldi was taken from Astana to Almaty, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
On May 16, a preliminary hearing in the case of Gulmira Satybalda was held in Almaty. Since the defendant is in Astana, he joined the court online. Satybaldi is currently being sentenced for two terms - eight and seven years - in different cases.
Now she is accused of illegal imprisonment, large-scale extortion and tyranny with serious consequences. Her driver, Madi Batyrshaev, is also on trial.
