The Deputy Head of the Almaty City Communal Infrastructure Development Department was suspected of fraud. This was stated by the press service of Antikor, the correspondent of "Adyrna" reported.

The official was suspected of fraud. By deception, he appropriated 21 million tenge of local businessman's funds under the pretext of concluding service contracts for the maintenance of yard areas, collection and production of PPE," the report said.
The suspect was placed under house arrest. Currently, the investigation is ongoing.
