The police department of the Almaty region, together with the prosecutor's office, thwarted a group that organized a criminal scheme for the sale of human organs, the "Adyrna" national portal reported with reference to Polisiakz.
22 defendants (organizers, medical workers, notaries, recipients and donors) were brought to Almaty city, Almaty, Zhambyl and Turkestan regions, among them there are those responsible for searching for recipients, donors, processing fake documents and organizing operations.
If the amount of the operation was 6-10 million tenge, eight such facts were revealed. Three main organizers were arrested. As a result of urgent search measures, cash, documents, digital media and other physical evidence were confiscated from the suspects.
