On July 3, the International Center for the Prosecution of the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine (ICPA) was opened in The Hague, reports the national portal "Adyrna" with reference to "Deutsche Welle".
According to the DW correspondent, the international center includes representatives of Ukraine, the European Union, the United States and the International Criminal Court (ICC). The main task of the center is to collect evidence of the crime of aggression against Ukraine and conduct an investigation against the aggression.
Prosecutors of Ukraine, the Baltic States, Romania and the USA will collect evidence of the crime of aggression against Ukraine in The Hague. According to the publication, such service is the first real step towards bringing the culprits to justice.
European Justice Commissioner Didier Reynders said the opening of the Center is the first and concrete step towards bringing those responsible for the aggression against Ukraine to justice.
"This is the proof of the world struggle. We are obliged to support Ukraine as necessary," he said at a press conference held in Eurous.
In addition, the commissioner said that 20 prosecutors work in the international center and are engaged in exposing acts of an aggressive nature.
