Clashes broke out between security forces and supporters of detained former Prime Minister Imran Khan in Pakistan on Tuesday. The protests spread throughout the country, and at least one person was killed in the province of Balochistan, BBC reported, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
On Friday, according to the instructions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, mobile communication was turned off in the country. Khan was arrested when he appeared before the Islamabad High Court to answer corruption charges.
Khan denies the charges against him. He declared that he was ready for everything in a video message published by the "Movement for Justice" party.
It should be noted that hundreds of cases have been filed against Khan since he was removed from power in April last year. The charges against him include corruption, terrorism and even blasphemy.
