Only when the demand for the Kazakh language increases, it will become a widely used language. The Head of State Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev said this at the XXXII session of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
"The problem of all citizens learning the state language remains a strategic direction of our policy. The Kazakh language is an effective tool for civil integration, a bright manifestation of cultural and spiritual integrity. Also, the Kazakh language should become a tool that paves the way for scientific progress and advanced achievements of education. This is a historical task to be solved not only by line ministries, but by the whole society. At the same time, it is better to act sensibly and consistently, not allowing exaggeration and arrogance. Citizens who have not studied and mastered the state language at an appropriate level should not be pressured because they do not know the language. At the same time, learning the state language and striving to learn it should become normal in our society," said the President.
