Metropolitan police rescued a man who tried to jump from the 24th floor. This was reported by Polisia.kz, the national portal "Adyrna" wrote.

Police channel "102" received information that a man was sitting on the balcony fence of an apartment building on Sarayshik Street at midnight and was trying to jump.

A squad of PD patrol police regiment of Astana, consisting of police officers Yerzhan Aisa and Nursultan Egembai, was immediately sent to the scene of the incident. Police arrived at the scene and saw a man crouching on each side of the balcony railing and about to jump down. Assessing the situation, without wasting time, the orderlies quickly went upstairs. The man noticed them and started shouting to him not to approach him.

Orienting the current situation, the policemen tried to establish a dialogue with the man and took advantage of the moment when he was deceived, quickly ran to him, grabbed him from behind and pulled him inside the balcony. They then took the man to a safe place, helped him deal with the stressful situation and calmed him down.

The man who tried to jump was taken to the Police Department of Esil district. It is being determined what prompted the 28-year-old citizen to do such an act. Preventive work was carried out with him together with psychologists.
