A large drug laboratory was liquidated by the police of the Almaty region, adyrna.kz reported.
On December 22, rangers of the Karachingil hunting farm received a message that two suspicious citizens of Ukraine were checked on the outskirts of the village of Baltabay, Enbekshikazakh district.
Police officers who arrived at the scene in the course of investigative actions near the place of checking the vehicles of 43-year-old and 28-year-old foreigners found a black bag, inside of which there were transparent plastic bags with a white and powdery substance.
"Further, the employees of the Department of Drug Administration of the Almaty region during operational activities identified two addresses of possible drug laboratories. During an authorized search on the ground, 6 more citizens of the Republic of Ukraine were detained. At the same time, laboratory equipment, glass bowls and metal sheets with crystalline substances, chemical substances," the press service of the Almaty Region Police Department said.
During the search, about 30 kilograms of the narcotic substance "speed" were seized.
