Firefighters from Almaty interceded for the life of a 93-year-old grandmother. They rescued the grandmother, born in 1929, from the burning house. And they received the blessing of the elder, the national portal "Adyrna"reported.
A fire broke out in a private house on Bakinskaya street, Turkisib district, Almaty city. The fire service was notified on December 22, 2022, at 1:51 p.m.
First, the roof of the house was burnt. Later, the flame gained strength and spread to the nearby barn.
The nearest units arrived at the fire scene 4 minutes after receiving the report. A grandmother born in 1929 was saved while searching for people. The fire was extinguished at 14:15 (20 minutes from the moment of arrival) and extinguished at 14:27 (32 minutes from the moment of arrival), - said the press service of the emergency department of Almaty city.

While Asylkhan Turan, chief engineer of the 4th specialized fire department, was knocking on the window, Sanzhar Taysariev, the fire department commander, and Nurzhan Zhankurazov, the fireman and rescuer, who came to help, broke the door and entered the house. He saw an old man in a locked room who was unaware of the fire.
Asylkhan Turan, Sanzhar Taisariev and Nurzhan Zhankurazov took the grandmother outside and handed her over to the emergency service.
