Activists of public organizations monitor the election process in Almaty

Activists of the society through their social networks invited Almaty residents to participate in monitoring the progress of the election campaign and the process of conducting the presidential elections of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Fund activist, public figure, head of Independ Digital Agency Rafael Hasanov told journalists about this, "Adyrna" reporter reported.

According to the activist, 100 citizens have already expressed their desire to become observers.

- About 500-600 people usually join us for the monitoring process, it was the same in the last referendum and the last Mazhilis elections, we believe that this time there will be no less observers, - said the public figure.

According to Rafael Hasanov, the school of observers will soon start its work, and activists will announce its opening on their pages on social networks. Volunteers with work experience at polling stations will participate as lecturers. In addition to volunteers, lawyers are also invited, who will introduce future observers to the basics of election legislation. All activists will be provided with reference materials, in particular, "observer notebooks", which they will need as a legal resource during the monitoring and control of polling stations and the election process.

According to Rafael Hasanov, the observers of the "Public Opinion" fund will check the readiness of polling stations for elections, in particular, whether they are provided with the necessary equipment and infrastructure for people with special needs.

Observers are assigned to polling stations on election day, they conduct monitoring and control the election process. Also, mobile groups are formed from the ranks of social activists. They promptly go to polling stations in case of questions about controversial issues, compliance with legal requirements, voting rules.

On election day, public activists will prepare a report on the progress of the election campaign every half hour. They exchange opinions and data online with the representatives in the regions, which allows to analyze the voting process in the whole country.

Rafael Hasanov said that social activists will prepare a special resolution based on the results of these works. In this document, they present the results of all their monitoring work. The decision is sent to the CEC.

At the briefing, together with Rafael Hasanov, other public activists - journalist, blogger, presenter of the TV program "Anyk Time" Maksat Mamadiyarov and others. They invited young adults to actively participate in the monitoring process.
