The incident took place on Markov Street in Almaty. When the driver of the Nissan Patrol car opened the door, a girl riding a scooter hit him and died, "Adyrna" portal reported.
According to the press service of the Almaty police department, the girl was taken to the central city hospital as a result of the incident. She died of his injuries a few hours later.
This year, within six months, 77 traffic accidents were registered between moped and scooter drivers, 81 people were injured, and one person died.
