Turkish Armed Forces plan to launch a new cross-border operation in the Syrian Arab Republic, the national portal Adyrna reports citing Kazinform.
Earlier, the Turkish military conducted similar counterterrorism operations to establish safe zones along the country's southeastern border. Successful operations include the Euphrates Shield, the Olive Branch and the Spring Shield. They were held several times. The current fifth anti-terrorist operation is "Barysh Pynary" ("Source of Peace").
