During the last three months, 4,108 people came to Kazakhstan and 5,281 left. This was reported by the National Bureau of Statistics, Adyrna correspondent reported.
"As a result of processing the data provided by the migration service, the number of registered arrivals in January-March 2022 amounted to 4,108 people, the number of emigrants - 5,281 people, the migration gap - 1,173 people," the statement reads.
The share of migrants from the CIS countries and those who left for those countries was 86% and 80.8%.
The number of internally displaced persons decreased by 12.6%. A positive difference in interregional migration was observed in 3 regions of the country: Nur-Sultan (7,523 people), Almaty (8,278 people) and Shymkent (866 people).
