Statesman Sat Tokpakbayev was awarded with the title of "Hero of the People", reported the national portal "Adyrna" referring to the press service of Akorda.
"By the decree of the President, statesman Sat Besimbayuly Tokpakbayev was awarded with the title of "Hero of the People" and he was awarded with special distinctions - the Golden Star and the Order of "Otan" for his excellent work to the Republic of Kazakhstan," the message says.
During these years, Tokpakbaev headed the National Security Committee, the Ministry of Defense, held a number of other important government positions at the highest echelon of power, and was a deputy of Majilis. In addition, Sat Besimbayuly is the winner of many different awards.
