On September 4, 2024, at 15:00, the Congress of Employers of Kazakhstan will be held in Astana, in which the Director General of the International Labor Organization, Gilbert Houngbo, will take part for the first time.
The ILO is a specialized agency of the United Nations for the regulation of labour relations, which includes 187 states, including Kazakhstan.
The forum with the participation of employers of the Republic of Kazakhstan will discuss current issues of social partnership. Reports will be made by the Director General of the ILO Gilbert Houngbo, Chairman of the Presidium of the National Confederation of Employers of the Republic of Kazakhstan "PARYZ" Zhumabek Zhanykulov, as well as the heads of JSC "Samruk-Kazyna".
The meeting will continue with the Congress of members of the National Confederation of Employers (Entrepreneurs) of the Republic of Kazakhstan "PARYZ", where it is planned to summarize the work and determine further development prospects of the Confederation "PARYZ", as well as consider other administrative issues. The event will be attended by heads of large enterprises and industry associations of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The National Confederation of Employers (Entrepreneurs) of the Republic of Kazakhstan "PARYZ" is the only republican association of employers of Kazakhstan recognized by the ILO, the only member-partner of the International Organization of Employers in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Over the 25 years of its existence, the activities of the Confederation "PARYZ" have been aimed at developing social partnership and dialogue in Kazakhstan, promoting the social responsibility of business, representing and protecting the interests of employers at all levels of management.
The Confederation "PARYZ" is a member of the Republican Tripartite Commission on Social Partnership and Regulation of Social and Labor Relations and a signatory of the General Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Republican Associations of Employers and Trade Unions. Similar work is carried out across industries and regions.
Today, the Confederation "PARYZ" includes 33 industry associations, approximately 1,500 associate members and 150 large and medium-sized businesses with a total of over 100,000 employees.
