President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev awarded a group of military personnel with state honors for their participation in a peacekeeping mission in the Golan Heights. This was reported by the press service of Akorda on April 14, according to “Adyrna” correspondent.
“President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed a decree awarding a group of military personnel with state awards for exemplary fulfillment of their military duty and for demonstrating bravery and dedication during the UN peacekeeping mission in the Golan Heights,” the statement reads.
According to the President’s decree, the following military personnel were awarded:
Order of Valor, 1st Degree, named after Sagadat Nurmagambetov:
• Zhiger Muratuly Aipov – Head of the Peacekeeping Operations Center of the Ministry of Defense.
Order of Valor, 2nd Degree, named after Baurzhan Momyshuly:
• Sukhrab Tokhtykhozhaevich Appazov – Senior officer-instructor at the Peacekeeping Operations Center of the Ministry of Defense.
• Bauyrzhan Kasymuly Kamen – Chief of Staff of the Engineering Battalion, Military Unit 58012 of the Ministry of Defense.
• Maksat Seilkhanuly Kasymov – Officer of Military Unit 99230 of the Ministry of Defense.
• Allabergen Myrzanuly – Commander of the Special Purpose Unit, Military Unit 74884 of the Ministry of Defense.
