The Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated Kazakhstanis on the occasion of Christmas, Adyrna correspondent reports.
“I congratulate all Orthodox Christians of Kazakhstan on the Christmas holiday! This bright celebration instills faith and hope in people’s hearts and calls on all humanity to treat one another with love. Eternal spiritual values such as justice, kindness, sincerity, responsibility, compassion, and harmony form the foundation of Christianity as well as other traditional world religions,” he said.
The President noted the contribution of Orthodox Christians to strengthening interfaith harmony in Kazakhstan.
“Orthodox Christians make a significant contribution to strengthening interfaith harmony in our country, fostering patriotism and diligence among the younger generation, and instilling family values in them.
The principles of unity, goodwill, and mutual support are an integral part of our state policy and a solid foundation of all our achievements. By showing respect for one another and demonstrating trust and compassion, our people will continue to move forward confidently on the path of justice and prosperity.
I sincerely wish Orthodox citizens and all our people good health and great success! May every home be filled with peace and abundance!” Tokayev added.
