Cooperation between Astana and Washington was discussed

Kazakhstan’s vice minister and the U.S. ambassador have met, the national portal Adyrna reports.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yerzhan Ashikbayev received the newly appointed Ambassador of the United States to Kazakhstan, Julie Stufft.

During the meeting, the American diplomat presented copies of her credentials.

The parties discussed the current state of the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and the United States, as well as ways to further develop it. They also exchanged views on expanding bilateral cooperation.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the vice minister and the ambassador expressed their readiness to engage in constructive and mutually beneficial cooperation and agreed to continue political dialogue on a regular basis.
