Freestyle wrestling specialist Nurkozha Kaipanov won the final at the Asian Championship held in Amman, Jordan. This was reported by the press service of the National Olympic Committee on March 30, according to Adyrna.
The Kazakh wrestler competed in the 74 kg weight category against Kyrgyz athlete Orozbek Toktomambetov, securing victory with a score of 2:1.
It is worth noting that last year, Kaipanov won the world championship in a non-Olympic weight category (70 kg). Additionally, earlier in the tournament, Rizabek Aitmukhan (97 kg) took second place, while Rakhmet Kalzhan (57 kg) won a bronze medal.
