An earthquake occurred in the Zhetisu region, reports the “Adyrna” national portal.
According to the seismic station network of the “Seismological Research Institute” LLP of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan, an earthquake was recorded on March 11, 2025, at 01:26 Astana time.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located on the Kazakhstan-China border.
“The estimated intensity: Zhetisu region, Panfilov district, Zharkent city - 2 points.
There have been no reports of casualties or destruction,” the statement said.
