Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that negotiations between Ukrainian and American delegations are scheduled to take place next week. He shared this information on the social media platform X, as reported by the Adyrna national portal.
According to Zelensky, the teams of both countries have resumed cooperation, and the Ukrainian side expects the bilateral dialogue to be constructive and substantive. He expressed confidence that the negotiations would mark an important step in strengthening cooperation between Kyiv and Washington.
American officials confirmed that the meeting will take place in Saudi Arabia and that preparations are underway. However, details of the agenda, the list of participants, and the key discussion topics have not yet been disclosed.
Additionally, Zelensky thanked European partners for their support and emphasized that allied unity plays a crucial role in the current international situation. He highlighted that Ukraine values the solidarity shown by Europe, especially during such a challenging period in global politics.
Notably, former U.S. President Donald Trump recently stated in Congress that he had received an important letter from Zelensky. According to Trump, the letter confirmed that Zelensky was willing to negotiate a peace agreement.
