A weather warning has been issued for 16 regions of the country. This was reported by meteorologists from “Kazhydromet,” according to the “Adyrna” correspondent.

Fog is expected in the central, northern, and eastern parts, while icy conditions are forecasted in the central and northern areas. Wind speeds in the central and northern parts may reach 15-20 m/s from the northwest. Light fog is expected in Kyzylorda.
In Almaty region, the wind will blow from the southwest in the west and east, with gusts reaching 17-22 m/s. In Konaev, the wind is also expected to reach 17-22 m/s from the southwest.
At night, snowfall and drifting snow are expected in the south and east of Aktobe region, while during the day, snowfall and drifting snow will occur in the north and east. The wind in the north and east will reach 15-20 m/s from the northwest.
On February 24-25, in Zhetysu region, winds from the southeast will reach 15-20 m/s, and in the Alakol lakes area, gusts may reach 23-28 m/s.
In Akmola region, snowfall is expected at night in the west and south, while during the day, precipitation (rain and snow), drifting snow, and icy conditions will occur in the west and south. Fog is likely in the west, north, and east. Wind speeds in the west and south will reach 15-20 m/s from the east.
In Atyrau region, fog is expected in the south and east.
In Zhambyl region, precipitation (rain and snow) and icy conditions are expected in mountainous areas at night. During the day, rain will fall in the west, south, and mountainous areas. Fog is expected at night and in the morning in the north, south, and mountainous areas. Wind speeds in the southwest, northeast, and mountainous areas will reach 15-20 m/s. In Taraz, fog is expected at night and in the morning.
In West Kazakhstan region, widespread snowfall is expected at night, with snow continuing in the west and north during the day. Drifting snow and fog are likely in the west, north, and east. In Oral, snow, drifting snow, and fog are also expected.
In East Kazakhstan region, fog is expected in the north, south, and central parts.
In Ulytau region, drifting snow, precipitation (rain and snow), and icy conditions are expected in the west, north, and south. Fog is likely in the west, north, and central parts. Wind speeds in the west, north, and east will reach 15-18 m/s from the east and southeast. In Zhezkazgan, drifting snow, precipitation (rain and snow), fog, and icy conditions are expected, with wind gusts reaching 18 m/s in the morning and afternoon.
In Karaganda region, light precipitation (rain and snow) and icy conditions are expected in the west during the day. Fog may occur in the west and north.
In Turkistan region, precipitation (mostly rain) is expected in the north, west, and mountainous areas at night. During the day, rain is expected across the region, with heavy rain and thunderstorms in the south and mountainous areas. Fog is expected in the north at night, while wind speeds in the north, south, and mountainous areas may reach 15-20 m/s. In Shymkent, rain is expected, with heavy rainfall in the second half of the day. In Turkistan, occasional rain is expected, with wind gusts reaching 15-20 m/s.
In North Kazakhstan region, drifting snow is expected in the southwest, while fog will form in the south at night and in the morning. Wind speeds in the west, north, and south will reach 15-20 m/s from the east. In Petropavl, wind speeds from the east will reach 15-20 m/s.
