Kazakhstani figure skater Mikhail Shaidorov won the gold medal at the Four Continents Figure Skating Championships held in Seoul, South Korea, reports the national portal Adyrna.
Mikhail delivered outstanding performances in both the short and free programs, achieving a career-best total score of 285.10 points. He earned 94.73 points in the short program and 190.37 points in the free program.
The silver medal went to South Korean skater Junhwan Cha, who scored 265.02 points, while American skater Jimmy Ma claimed the bronze with 245.01 points.
Another Kazakhstani athlete, Dias Zhirenbayev, finished in 19th place with a total score of 166.34 points.
It is worth noting that exactly 10 years ago, Kazakhstani figure skater Denis Ten also won this championship. By following in the footsteps of the legendary athlete, Mikhail Shaidorov has brought a historic victory to Kazakhstan.
