Senate Speaker Maulen Ashimbayev met with Dimash Kudaibergen, the Goodwill Ambassador of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, reports the national portal “Adyrna.”
This was announced by the Senate’s press service.
During the meeting, Maulen Ashimbayev highlighted Dimash Kudaibergen’s significant contribution to promoting Kazakh national culture. He emphasized that through his art, Dimash advocates for peace and kindness while fostering dialogue between different peoples and cultures.
“Our President, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, consistently emphasizes the importance of interfaith and intercivilizational dialogue. In the face of global challenges, spiritual diplomacy has become even more crucial. Promoting a culture of peace and dialogue is of great importance. In this regard, the joint efforts of religious, political, and public leaders play a significant role. I believe that you will continue to contribute to advancing the ideas of peace and harmony on an international level through your creativity and innovative projects,” said Maulen Ashimbayev.
During the meeting, the Senate Speaker presented Dimash Kudaibergen with the Congress’s Goodwill Ambassador badge.
The meeting also discussed preparations for the VIII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions and the II Forum of Young Religious Leaders. Additionally, participants exchanged views on the implementation of the Congress’s concept and joint projects in this direction.
