Three buses exploded in Israel, in the city of Bat Yam, south of Tel Aviv. This was reported by the BBC, according to the national portal “Adyrna.”

Authorities are investigating the incident as a possible terrorist attack.

According to preliminary reports, there are no casualties. Additionally, explosive devices were found on two other buses.

Israeli media reported that Transport Minister Miri Regev ordered a halt to all bus and rail traffic to inspect every vehicle for potential explosives.

Police spokesman Ari Doron told Channel 12 that officers are continuing to check the area and urged the public to be vigilant about any suspicious packages or objects.

“Fortunately, the terrorists may have set the timer incorrectly. But it is too early to draw conclusions,” he said.

Footage circulating on social media shows at least one bus on fire, with smoke rising from it.

According to local media, one of the unexploded 5 kg IEDs had a message written on it: “Revenge for Tulkarm,” referring to a recent counterterrorism operation by Israeli forces in the West Bank.

Defense Minister Israel Katz has ordered an “intensification” of operations in refugee camps in the West Bank.

A statement from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office confirmed that he has been briefed on the incident.

Authorities are urging the public to avoid Bat Yam and to remain alert for any suspicious objects.
