Hadiya Konaeva, who won a jiu-jitsu competition in Abu Dhabi, received a letter of thanks and a gift from the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. Additionally, she was presented with a 1 million tenge certificate, as reported by the “Adyrna” national portal, referencing Kazinform news agency.
Last month, at the World Championship in Abu Dhabi, 6-year-old Hadiya achieved a clean victory with a score of 11:0. The President’s gift was handed to the girl by the Governor of Pavlodar Region, Asain Bayhanov.
“Our compatriot demonstrated the spirit, talent, and determination of Kazakh youth. Such important victories are the result of persistent hard work from a young age. Her coach is her father, Samat Konaev. The father’s example has also motivated his children. Today, all of them are masters of sports,” said the Governor of Pavlodar Region, Asain Bayhanov.
The regional leader highlighted the Konaev family as a role model for many Kazakhstanis and praised the young champion’s gold medal as a source of pride for the entire country.
