A 22-year-old man who borrowed the car of a well-known blogger and entrepreneur in Almaty has passed away, reports the “Adyrna” national portal.
The tragic incident occurred on October 29 at the “Sokol” autodrome in Aksay village. During a stunt, the young man ended up under the wheels of a car driven by a 45-year-old driver. He was seriously injured and transported to the district hospital but passed away on October 30 without regaining consciousness.
The blogger, who is well-known among the public, shared a statement about the tragic incident in a video that has circulated on TikTok. Blogger Beibit Alibekov explained that the 22-year-old man, Batyrkhan Erzhan, had asked to borrow his Lamborghini.
“Let’s remember Batyrkhan Erzhan, the young man who asked to borrow my car. At first, I refused him, but he kept asking. He said he wanted to perform a stunt and record it on video. After he insisted several times, I finally agreed. The tragic accident happened during the stunt. He later passed away in the hospital. I shouldn’t have given him my car. I extend my condolences to his family and loved ones,” Alibekov said in the video.
The Almaty Region Police Department provided a statement regarding the incident.
“On October 29, during a video recording on the autodrome, a 22-year-old young man performing a stunt accidentally ended up under the wheels of a car driven by a 45-year-old man. As a result, the victim was admitted to the district hospital, where he passed away on October 30 without regaining consciousness,” the statement read.
