Kazakh boxer Zhanibek Alimkhanuly secured a victory by knocking out New Zealand’s Andrey Mikhailovich in the ninth round, reports the “Adyrna” national portal.
This win marked Alimkhanuly’s first defense of the IBF title and his fourth defense of the WBO middleweight belt. Alimkhanuly now holds 16 victories, with 11 of them by knockout. For Mikhailovich, this was his first loss after 21 wins.
