Mixed martial arts has been banned in Afghanistan

The Afghan government has banned mixed martial arts (MMA). The authorities of the country claim that this type of sport does not comply with the principles of Islam, "Adyrna" correspondent reports with reference to TRT. The corresponding order banning MMA was prepared by the moral police of the Ministry of Virtue Promotion and Prevention of Evil. "It was found that this sport has many aspects that contradict Islamic teachings. Therefore, a decision was made to ban mixed martial arts in Afghanistan," the report said.
