On August 16, an open meeting on the construction of a nuclear power plant will be held in Almaty. The press service of the city administration wrote about it, reports the correspondent of "Adyrna".
The event will start at 9:00 a.m. at the research institute "Almatybasjospar".
"The public discussion will be attended by industry experts of the atomic industry. During the event, citizens can ask the experts any questions they may have about the safety of the technologies they are interested in, as well as the socio-economic aspects of the NPP construction," the report said.
It should be noted that discussions on the construction of nuclear power plants were held in 18 regions of the country before this.
