If apartment prices do not increase in the future, they will not decrease. Bakhytzhan Dzhunisbekov, chairman of the Committee on Construction and Housing and Communal Affairs of the Ministry of Industry and Construction, predicted this, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
"In the next 10 months, apartment prices across the republic fell by one percent. What do you think it has to do with it? Considering that housing is being built on a large scale both in Astana and in the regions, will the price continue to fall?" - asked the journalist today at the press conference held at the Central Communications Service.
The head of the committee said that if the apartment price does not increase, it will not decrease.
"I can assure you that there was no sharp drop in apartment prices here. Because inflation somehow affects housing prices. According to the results of the first half of 2024, there is a trend of growth in the area of housing that is put into use. The average statistics of construction costs also increased by 2-3 percent. However, the number of transactions has decreased. We attribute the decline in apartment prices to the decline in these transactions. In general, we are not expecting a sharp increase or a sharp decrease in apartment prices. There is an assumption that it will continue to grow gradually," Bakytzhan Zhunisbekov said.
