"On June 17, K. Temirkhanov, the department head of the regional department of the industrial safety committee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, was sentenced to 3 years in prison by the verdict of court No. 2 of Pavlodar city.
"He was accused of accepting a bribe of 1.3 million tenge from the head of the enterprise for his general patronage during annual inspections in the field of industrial safety," the report said.
