In the Karasai district of the Almaty region, it was discovered that a secret madrasa was operating, which illegally educated 19 children. This was announced by the regional prosecutor's office, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
According to information, a native of Tajikistan taught children using religious literature with Arabic inscriptions in the territory of a private house.
"During the inspection, 179 pieces of religious literature, as well as a mobile phone and a laptop were confiscated, and appropriate examinations were established. The issue of bringing the guilty person to legal responsibility is being considered. Now the children have been returned to their parents," the report said.
