24 countries have signed an agreement to protect the security of Ukraine

On July 11, within the framework of the NATO summit in Washington, the leaders of 24 countries signed the "Ukraine Agreement". Among them are 22 of the 32 countries that are members of the North Atlantic Alliance, Ukraine itself and Japan, which is not a member of NATO, reports the correspondent of "Adyrna".

The agreement specifies three tasks. The parties promised to support Ukraine in the field of defense and security, as well as to create forces that support defense capabilities. They also agreed to meet "immediately and collectively" to determine the next steps to support Ukraine in the event of an armed attack by Russia.

10 NATO member countries, namely Albania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Greece, North Macedonia, Romania, Slovakia, Turkey, Croatia and Montenegro, did not sign the agreement.
