Head of State Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev congratulated media workers on their professional holiday. Akorda announced this, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
"The mass media of our country play a special role in reviving public consciousness and strengthening national unity. Development of the press industry, as well as protection of the rights and legal interests of journalists is one of the important tasks of the state," the president said in his congratulation.
Kazakh journalism has an instructive history, a special signature formed by the older generation. We need to preserve its rich genealogy and educational tradition as much as possible.
