Armenia will not participate in the meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the CSTO to be held in Almaty on June 21. Ani Badalyan, press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country, said this, "Adyrna" correspondent reported.

"The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, will not participate in the meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the CSTO to be held in Almaty," he said in an interview with local media.

Armenia has refused to participate in the meeting of the Security Council of the CSTO several times before. On June 12, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan confirmed the country's intention to withdraw from the CSTO.

It should be noted that the Foreign Ministers of the countries participating in the Collective Security Treaty Organization will come to Almaty on June 21 to participate in the meeting of the MFA Council. The heads of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will discuss the current issues of international and regional security. They will also consider the implementation of measures to fulfill the priorities of Kazakhstan during the period of the chairmanship of the CSTO.
