Volodymyr Zelensky invited two journalists from Central Asia, three from Kazakhstan, three from Kyrgyzstan and one from Uzbekistan to Ukraine, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
Ukrainian authorities said they only invited media they consider independent.
Also, Zelensky answered journalists' interviews in Russian. After reporters asked him to answer in Russian, the Ukrainian president said he had to speak Russian.
