Eraly Togzhanov was appointed as an advisor to Prime Minister Oljas Bektenov. This information was confirmed by the press service of the head of the government, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.

He was born on May 13, 1963 in West Kazakhstan region. In 1988 he graduated from Karaganda State University, in 1994 he graduated from the Institute of State and Law of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Professional qualification is a lawyer.

He started his career in 1980 as a forestry worker in Oktyabr, Ural region.

In 1988-2001, he was a teacher at Karaganda State University, director of the Institute of State and Law of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, dean of the faculty, director of the branch of the Kazakh State University of Law.

In 2001-2006, he was deputy governor of Karaganda region.

In 2006-2008, he was the chairman of the Committee on Religious Affairs of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
