Parliamentary observers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) praised the organization of the Russian presidential election. They declared that the campaign was free and fair, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.

"On the main voting day, March 17, parliamentarians of the CSTO member countries continued to monitor the presidential election in Russia.

The inspectors of the National Assembly of the Republic of Kazakhstan did not find any complaints regarding the quality of the preparation of the lists of citizens with the right to vote, the procedure for issuing ballots or the procedure for voting," the Assembly said in a statement
