The European Parliament is the first in the world to adopt a law on artificial intelligence. This is written on the website of the European Parliament, the national portal "Adyrna" reports.

The new law prohibits the use of facial recognition systems in public places.

The law prohibits the use of technology that can detect human emotions and manipulate human behavior in workplaces and schools.

When the law comes into force, images or videos edited with the help of artificial intelligence system will be given appropriate marking.

The law must be approved by the Council of Europe. The document will enter into force at the end of May.
