Kazakhs won a silver medal in modern pentathlon at the World Cup held in Egypt, reported the national portal "Adyrna" with reference to the National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan (NOC).
"The current pentathlon World Cup was held in Cairo (Egypt). The Kazakhstan national team took second place in the mixed relay. Lyudmila Yakovleva and Temirlan Abdiraimov participated in this program on behalf of our country. The team scored 1337 points and became the winners of the silver medal," said the message issued on Wednesday.
Mexico is in first place with 1350 points, and South Korea is in third place with 1322 points.
