The 69th meeting of SCIJ (The Ski Club of International Journalists) was opened in Shymbulak in Almaty, reported Azattyq Ruhy.
This year, Kazakhstan is hosting 150 journalists from about 30 countries of the world. The meeting was opened by Serik Zharaspaev, Vice Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
"Today we are pleased to welcome you to a special event - the International Ski Journalists' Club. This event was created not only to unite professionals from different countries, but also to provide a unique opportunity to get to know the wonderful places of the country," said the vice-minister.
