"On yesterday's earthquake, the ministry coordinated the necessary measures from the first minute. In order to prevent panic among citizens, they started informing about the earthquake and further on the actions of the people. We used the speech alarm, siren and local object system and broadcasted it through TV and radio channels. Republican and regional emergency headquarters were opened and 386 citizen reception points were organized. The emergency network is working 24 hours a day. Yesterday, about three thousand people were accommodated at the reception points. Among them are 906 children.
