Before the establishment. China succeeds in drilling 10 km deep

The depth of drilling an ultra-deep well in Xinjiang-Uyghur Autonomous Region in northwestern China has exceeded the limit of 10,000 m,  the reporter of "Adyrna" reported referring to the Xinhua agency. China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) Tarim oil field chief expert in charge of drilling is Wang Chunsheng. He noted that after reaching 10,000 meters, they face complex problems such as temperatures above 200°C and formation pressures above 130 MPa, and the complexity increases with each meter.
